What this means is a completely different drinking experience from what you'd expect from a fully fermented tea. Very old, traditional tea production techniques went into creating Thousand Taels that are unique to the village it is from in Hunan. Moreover, the tea leaves are picked at a higher elevation, giving them a hardier character.
