Red-Tailed Hawk - PrintThis piece was originally created as a crown to the totem poles I was working on for the Arise Music Festival last summer. The totem project was a massive undertaking, and there were many obstacles to overcome as we were planning the concept and fabrication. At times it was daunting, and seemed like we may have bitten off more than we could chew but, I had a very clear vision of what I wanted to achieve, and I feel the spirit of the red tailed hawk

This design has been a work in progress since I first released the Flight of the Grizzly

Kind of like the grizzly bear coming out of his cave… we are about to open the doors to something special in Boulder

and sleeping

The climate is much like Northern California in the summer

The acrylic measures 23" x 7" x 3/8"

Just as the road levels off

and I'm going to say it again

he is an early bird (sometimes very early)
