The English Whisky Co. 7 Year Old The Single Cask | Cask B2-188Single Malt English Whisky Bottled by: The Single Cask 70cl 64. 2% This was definitely our favourite whisky from the recent samples we tried from The Single Cask. Some may say that it was a surprise that this came out on top for us but we have tried some cask samples from the St Georges Distillery and they really are top quality. This whisky was distilled in 2011 and matured in a single ex bourbon American oak cask before being bottled 7 years later

This was to become the last batch of Springbank 21-year-old to be bottled until 2012 as maturing stocks had been exhausted

A single cask Ben Nevis 2002 10-year-old bottled at full cask strength without chill filtration in November 2013

Nose: Roasted coffee with black grapes and chocolate

slightly dirty peatiness

Matured for around 9 years in these ex-bourbon casks

Port Charlotte PC8 was bottled at its full cask strength of 60
