Since the Powercore housings are vulnerable we advise people who off road a lot or chronic wheel droppers to use these instead. They can also act as extra pockets and hold stuff in the pads. The PK flex caps are meant to replace the housing and you lose the accent colors but obviously is a foolproof way to protect the housing from cracking when not running Powercores.
