Matured in a sherry butt with an outturn of just 289 bottles at 55. 1%. A pure and very classical sherry matured Glenfarclas, myriad notes of tobacco, rancio, tropical fruit and wood spice combine to make an utterly delicious old Speysider.
There were some incredible casks going into these 30-year-old Macallan batches back then - all 100% sherry casks filled in the 1960s
