They are a mid to heavier weight cordura and cotton blend (thicker athletic sock weight) with extra terry material in the arch for extra support. Made in Japan.

He could comfortably have worn a medium weight shirt but for heavier layering would want a 42 or tough it out/ give it some stretch until the 40 conforms and stretches a bit

It’s a great fitting uncomplicated everyday western style with acorn shaped pockets and a simple back yoke

The measurements do not look generous but the slightly larger armhole/ opening makes the jacket more generous than the measurements suggest

The overall finish (including the sole trim) is very nicely done and considering the materials and amount of heavy leather and components used
