Philodendron 'Moonlight'
Description
Philodendron 'Moonlight'A Philodendron hybrid with bright almost yellow leaves. This variety is self heading, meaning the foliage will grow in center rather than off of a central vine. While it can still climb up surfaces like many other philodendron, it grows more like a bird nest variety. Care: Usually we water every 7 10 days as the top 2 3" of soil drys out. These thrive in bright filtered light to medium. When re potting use a semi coarse soil medium. All of our plants
Usually we water ours about every 3 weeks when you get into the 4-5 week stage this will completely dry out the roots and when you go in for a water the plant will rot from shock
meaning they actually will shed all of their foliage at the end of a growing season and regrow them in the spring/summer
They can go about 2-3" dry in the soil before needing a full water
The blooms will be bright pink
This is a really interesting species of Ficus native to parts of Mexico
These form a caudex and or a swelled up trunk near the base
Bright indirect light to direct sun will be best for a cacti such as this one
Deuterocohnia brevifolia will thrive in bright light
a Philodendron like this one can tend to small leaves that lack defined lobes
They are versatile in terms of lighting
Since this is a desert species they get very minimal watering even more so in the winter months
if you shine a light on it the iridescence on the leaves shines bright BLUE (which can be best seen on camera video)
