2024 Pascal & Nicolas Reverdy "Terre de Maimbray" Sancerre Rosé, Loire Valley, FranceABOUT THE WINE Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this Sancerre Ros hails from the limestone rich hillsides of Maimbray, where Kimmeridgian marl (Terres Blanches) soils imbue the wine with energy and depth. The grapes are direct pressed (ros de presse) and fermented in stainless steel, with a small portion (around 10%) aged in neutral oak to add textural nuance. Aging on fine lees through winter adds subtle roundness while preserving purity and aromatic lift.
