Blue X
Description
Blue Xencaustic on panel 36X36 in. This piece is framed in a thin black floater. "I created this piece by using fluid inks over a chalk painted panel. I like the loss of fluidity of the ink as a place to start my encaustic painting. I work spontaneously and intuitively allowing the work to evolve. The blue x was the last brush stroke I added, which is why I titled it Blue X." S. U.
