Palomino Vino PH Citrusdal 2023Piekenierskloof is approximately 50 km north of Swartland and nestled in South Africa's Citrusdal Mountains. The Fledge & Co. produce this 100% Palomino wine from a Single Vineyard planted in sandstone soils on Table Mountain in 1974. Grapes are harvested mid February when the grapes skin is nice an tanned. To add some structure to the wine, the wine was fermented on those skins for 4 days. All naturally of course. Barrel aged 12 months on lees.
