Crashing Waves Engagement RingMarch 2026 14 karat rose gold, sapphire, emerald A client came to me with a selection of stones to set in an engagement ring, including a beautiful cornflower blue Ceylon sapphire. He knew he wanted to use these stones, he knew he wanted rose gold, and he and his intended both have a love of the ocean. After going over several options, we came up with the idea of having the emerald and white sapphire side stones being swept by waves toward the center

In turning this iteration of the Koch Snowflake into a wearable star

He wanted the rings to say something in Hebrew

My wife's wedding band has a great (and far more lighthearted) story as well

the large oval moonstone and its wide bezel are a perfect balance to the thick but open lines of the ring shank

so I knew what would fit in with his wife's style

The congregation's name is Etz Hayim

but I'm not sure I want to see that on the dining table
